We developed an app that enabled a user to generate an instant record of their conversation, prompting them to ask specific questions - including those that we are sometimes nervous of asking - and incorporating text notes, photos and audio recordings.
We included tips and advice at every stage to keep the user informed of their consumer rights.
On conclusion of the conversation, the app emails a
copy of the conversation direct to the tradesperson. It helps the tradesperson with the information and detail they need when putting their quote in writing, but it can also be helpful in the event of a dispute arising further down the line.
The app maintains copies of all previous conversations for all repair, maintenance and improvement jobs.
So a homeowner can manage a number of different
tradespeople, while keeping all the details in one, easily accessible place - in this case, on a smartphone or tablet.
